HBS has named a new dean, Nitin Nohria, a very fine choice in our limited opinion. Nohria diverges deeply from the typical HBS dean, particularly in his research focus, leadership. He comes from the Organizational Behavior faculty, who teach in the LEAD curriculum in the first-year at HBS and who are less comfortable than some with Credit Default Swaps...
Nohria produced this video less than a year ago; it gives a decent sense of his perspective.
Keep in mind the mission of HBS: 'To educate leaders who make a difference in the world.'
